The city stood quiet in the sanguine night with snow blanketing the sky. As I walked through the park, thousands among thousands of thoughts raced through my head. None of them were positive and it sent me into a depressing spiral of emotions. I stop at the bridge near the exit of the park and look out onto the river. A faint sound rang in my ears. Somewhere in the black of midnight, I could hear the sound of someone sobbing. It resonated from the park. After stumbling through the trees, I found the source of the sound. Someone sitting on the snow covered ground, a blanket covering their body. I offered to help them, and the reply of a young girl came in response. Her voice gave me a nostalgic feeling. As she stood and turned to me, the blanket fell into the snow, revealing her face. A surge of memories came flashing before my eyes.
